UEFA Nations League: Ronaldo fails to score, as Spain moves on to the quarterfinals.

Cristiano Ronaldo went scoreless as Portugal's perfect Nations League record came to an end with a 0-0 draw against Scotland on Tuesday. Having won their first three matches in the tournament, Portugal struggled to secure a goal against the Scots at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

Ronaldo, who has 133 international goals, had several opportunities to score but couldn't find the net. He appeared frustrated with the referee after the match, leaving the field with sarcastic applause, waving his arms, and giving a thumbs down.

Portugal had secured victories against Croatia, Scotland, and Poland in Group A1, maintaining its lead with 10 points—three ahead of Croatia and six ahead of Poland. Scotland, at the bottom of the group, remained stuck at one point. They entered the match with a nine-game winless streak and had lost four consecutive matches.

"There was a lot missing for Portugal tonight," midfielder Bernardo Silva said. "We lacked intensity, didn't attack at the right moments. We leave here frustrated." More here....
